With a commitment to socially aware, explainable, and responsible AI systems.

Sustainable Development Goals

About the lab

The ILUSTRE Lab is dedicated to developing solutions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of water and energy distribution.

The lab’s mission and vision are to develop, implement, and test AI innovations that will accelerate the use of clean energy and advance solutions in water treatment and wastewater recycling/purification.

The impact of the lab lies in directly tackling challenges within water and energy distribution in order to achieve the transition towards renewable energy within Curaçao and reaching the ambition to become a smart country that embraces the development of data technology and artificial Intelligence.

Research projects
