Looking to collaborate face-to-face with fellow researchers across the ICAI network? The ICAI Mobility Program covers travel and accommodation costs to help PhDs and postdocs set up research exchanges between ICAI labs.
The Essentials

Funding: Up to €1,000 total per applicant (covering transport first, then accommodation).

Duration: Flexible visits up to a maximum of 3 months (either one long stay or multiple day visits).

Allocation: Distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from an annual €25,000 pool. (Supervisors can also use this fund for travel!).

Quick Eligibility Check

You must be an ICAI-based AI PhD or postdoc.

Both your sending and hosting advisors must be ICAI-affiliated (with at least one being academic).

Expenses must align with the University of Amsterdam (UvA) business travel policy.
